Solutions
One question, answered properly.
Who really controls this company, and what do they own? Everything below is a job you can do with the answer. Nothing below is roadmap.
Onboarding and due diligence
Regulation 28(9) is explicit that a relevant person does not satisfy beneficial ownership verification by relying solely on what has been delivered to the registrar. These are the jobs that sit on the other side of that sentence.
Verify a beneficial owner past the register
ProfessionalRead the PSC register and the company's own latest shareholder filing side by side, so verification rests on more than the register alone.
See what Professional readsFind a discrepancy worth reporting
ProfessionalA missing PSC entry and an incorrect nature of control are both listed in Schedule 3AZA. The tree shows where the register and the filing disagree, so you can judge whether it is material.
Read the guidesCheck the adverse history behind a structure
ProfessionalInsolvency cases and Gazette notices touching the companies and the people in the chain, rather than only the entity in front of you.
Where this comes fromPut the structure on the client file
ProfessionalExport the tree and the register entries behind it as a PDF, so the file shows what was checked and when.
Plans and pricingOwnership and control
The core of it. Start from a company or from a person, and follow control in whichever direction the question runs.
Trace the chain to the real owner
FreeFollow a company up through every corporate PSC until the chain reaches an individual, an exempt entity or the UK border. Free, with an account.
Create a free accountSee the holders the register never shows
ProfessionalThe PSC regime starts above 25%. The shareholder register, parsed from the latest confirmation statement, shows every holder and share class, with exact percentages replacing the PSC bands.
Plans and pricingMap a group to full depth
FreeEvery company beneath the one you searched, nested as far as the register goes, with the control relationship on each link.
Walk through a real groupStart from the person, not the company
FreeSearch an individual and see every company they control, with the structures underneath each one. Useful when the name is what you have and the companies are what you need.
Create a free accountMoney and security
What the accounts say, and who has a claim over what, across the whole chain rather than one company at a time.
Read the accounts without opening the PDF
ProfessionalFiled accounts and derived balance-sheet metrics, entity by entity, latest and historic.
Plans and pricingSee who holds security over the group
ProfessionalRegistered charges per company with lender, status and the creation and satisfaction dates, plus Gazette charge notices.
Where this comes fromProperty
Which UK titles sit under a company, and under everything else the same people control. From HM Land Registry, which is licensed rather than open data, so it is included in Professional rather than the free tier.
See every title a company owns
ProfessionalAddress, title number, tenure and price paid for each property held by the company in front of you.
Plans and pricingRoll a portfolio up across a whole group
ProfessionalEvery property across every company one person or group controls, which is the question a company-by-company search cannot answer.
Plans and pricingFor a team
Professional is per user. Where a whole compliance function needs it, Enterprise is the same product across every seat on one account, arranged directly rather than through checkout.
One account for the team, billing arranged with us, everything in Professional for every seat.
Pricing and how to startWhere this stops
The useful thing to know about any data product is its edges. These are ours.
- We do not score credit, monitor companies for changes, send alerts, build prospect lists, offer an API or cleanse data you upload. Other tools do those well; this one does not do them at all.
- Super-secure and exempt PSCs are withheld at source by Companies House, so no tool can show them, including this one.
- A foreign corporate parent is shown with its country of registration, and the chain stops at the UK border unless that parent is itself a UK company.
- Where a filing does not reconcile with itself, we say so rather than rounding it away.
Try it on a company you already know
The ownership tree is free with an account. Run a corporate client, a counterparty or your own group, and see how far the chain goes before the public record stops being useful.
