Data coverage
Read from the register, not summarised from it.
Every figure on the tree traces to a filing. This page says which ones, how current they are, and where the public record itself stops.

Where the record stops
Knowing the edges of the data is part of using it well. These are the ones that matter most.
The 25% threshold
The PSC regime only captures holders at 25% and above. Below that, the ownership chain shows nothing, which is why the shareholder register is the first Professional layer.
Super-secure and exempt PSCs
Where Companies House has restricted a PSC's details, or an entity is exempt (for example some listed companies), the register shows the restriction, not the person.
LLPs
LLPs only report members who cross the 25% threshold on capital, votes or appointments. A widely-held partnership can legitimately show no PSCs at all.
Overseas parents
A foreign corporate PSC is shown with its country of registration. The chain stops at the UK border unless the parent is itself a UK company.
Freshness
Ownership and structure are refreshed on a cadence of hours; a new confirmation statement is picked up within a day. Filings appear on the register before they appear here.
